THINGS TO DO IN QUERÉTARO
There are many city tours available: walking tours, trolley tours, theater-related (there is one wonderful tour with dramatic sketches of various Legends of Querétaro in the evening), and tours by car.

Also, Querétaro is situated conveniently near other fascinating cities and areas of interest, such as the pyramids of Teotihuacán, Mexico City, the historic and artistic San Miguel de Allende, the old mining city of Guanajuato, the mystic monolith of Bernal (recently starring in Close Encounters of the Third Time), the naturally beautiful Sierra Gorda mountains. You can also find great ecotourism with mountain biking, river rapids, four-wheel vehicles, etc.

Night life- There are many bars and discos in the city offering a great variety of ambience and music: bohemian, lounge, cantina type, rock-pop, karaoke, among others. Also in the historical downtown students can enjoy during the weekends free concerts and dances that take place in the plazas and the “Andadores” (pedestrian streets).

Restaurants- Querétaro offers a great variety of restaurants from International kitchen to Mexican cuisine in an incredible amount and types of restaurants, cafeterias, shops, first class dining, etc.

Art & Culture- There is a great diversity of activities taking place in the city such as: concerts, ballets, theatre, expositions, workshops, etc. At OLÉ we have information for our students regarding the activities that are taking place throughout the city during their stay.

Museums- There are several museums in the city with great expositions to visit.

Kids- there are many fun activities such as: art workshops, story-telling, theatre, kid’s library, cinema, etc.

Festivities- Querétaro is a city with a lot of history. This is why there are always a lot of events taking place in this city. At OLÉ we always have up to date information for our students.

Sports & recreation- A variety of sports and recreational activities are available such as: golf, bullfights, bowling, cinemas, football, and tennis among many other activities.
